Non VAC Words

In Partners, answer the following question using any tool in the room.
1) What is a VAC word?
2) Using that definition and looking at this weeks list what is a non VAC word?
3) Looking at this weeks list, are there any words that have a new suffix added? If so, what is the suffix and what is the rule?

  3. A VAC word has a single vowel before a single consonant in an accented final syllable.

  4. Its a word that ends with a consanant, you double the consanant at the end then ad a suffix that ends with a vowel.

    2. A non vac word is a word that does not follow the same pattern as a vac word.
    3.There is a new suffix it is (or). The rule is keep the word the same and add or.

  9. 1) We think it means if you add something to a normal word then you double the consenent.

    2)This weeks list dosen't double the consenent.

    3)The only thing we found that was different was the 'or' at the end of the word and the rule is just add 'or'then your done!

    2. A non VAC word is a word with 2 consinents next to each other.
    3. The suffix is OR. you do not have to change anything, just add OR.

    3. The suffix is OR and its rule is to keep the root word and add or.

    2-Some base words that end in a single vowel before a single consonant do not have a final accented syllable. Do not double the final consonant before adding a suffix to these words.

    3-The suffixe is or , you just add the or to the root word.
